Why EasyCataract?
EasyCataract combines three active ingredients—an antibiotic, a steroid, and an NSAID—into one bottle removing the burden of handling three separate dropper bottles. A combination eye drop saves on costs, increases patient adherence to treatment for pre-operative and post-operative Cataract surgery, and saves time.
EasyCataract is a combination eye drop of Moxifloxacin 0.5%, Prednisolone 1% and Bromfenac 0.075%. They were created to make pre-op and post-op cataract surgery treatment easier and more convenient for both the patient and the doctor. A local eye surgeon came to us in search of an alternative to prescribing the common three separate dropper bottles. She explained that many times patients cannot tolerate a multi-bottle regimen. Since noncompliance is the biggest impediment to a great outcome, EasyCataract was born.

-
Saves time
Utilizing EasyCataract for your patients reduces the paperwork and time involved in prior authorization, charting, and patient instructions.
Our goal is optimal outcomes. To achieve this requires mastery of the three pillars of quality: facilities management, quality assurance, and expertly trained staff.
-
Facilities Management
Our state-of-the-art compounding lab undergoes constant scrutiny with regularly scheduled testing such as airborne particulate counts and microbial surface/air sampling. By maintaining continual monitoring, our lab can produce quality sterile products.
-
Quality Assurance
Quality is a must. Therefore all sterile products undergo testing by an outside, unaffiliated, third-party lab. Products remain quarantined until a Certificate of Analysis is received that verifies the product. Testing performed includes sterility, potency, endotoxin, container closure integrity, and preservative effectiveness.
-
Staff Competency
Our products are compounded by a fully trained, tested, and validated compounding staff. Our lead pharmacist holds Board Certification in sterile compounding. Our facility has achieved PCAB accreditation and maintained it. PCAB (also known as ACHC) is the gold standard of accreditation for compounding pharmacies.
